These professionals have been trained to inspect and look for problems that a lay person may miss. Pay the money-and get a little of piece of mind. After all-your home is usually your largest investment.

On a Serious note, there are a lot of so called handymen that want to say a buck or two fixing their home. But some of these fixes can be dangerous. Last time, Get a Home Inspection!
